The park was crowded with people, not like the weekday when i 1st visited. One advantage of this thought was people had set out food and drink stalls around the park, and to the south of the park fresh food made on flat grills.
After being in the zoo for an hour we soon reliesed we were going to run out of time, and that really we should have planned a full day to see the animals. We quickly rushed around to get a feel for the place and decided to visit again on a weekday for a full day. We managed to see the best animals on the visit. Tigers, Lions, gorillas and frog were my favs :)
This video is so funny, of the gorila's playing

oww i loved the polar bears so much
i laughed so much at this, it reminded me of a game called 'portal' im so going to photoshop the portal onto this when i have time haha!
The giant was seriously impressive! really my photograph doesn't give it any justice in its size
humm you can tell i have practiced shooting frogs before ;)
a little street shot
Those homeless people were here again, thought this time it was the same man and a women. They were so friendly i just thought fuck it and decided to shoot anyway, they were totaly cool with it. The man even laughed and told me the cats were hungry.
view of the stalls as sun was setting
This guy was cooking octopus balls, they smelt really nice but ¥500 seamed a little steep compared to the ¥90 at the sushi place. I took this without him even noticing, then some some tourist women stuck a huge SLR in his face, he was angry and shouted 'no photo'. Some people just don't even have the decency to try be subtle about it and i bet her frame sucked anyway.
This woman caught me tho, shooting from the hip, she still knew what i was up too. Thing was she gave me such a nice smile, i guess its just how you go about taking the photo. If you don't stick it right in their face they are ok with it. She was selling hotdogs on a stick, these also smelt realy dam good!
... but in the end we settled for noodles
this dog was so cute, tied up being the stalls its owner game out to give it some attention which it clearly loved!
wild cats are a pest in Japan this sign shows that the cats are common along with the birds in the parks
After Ueno we decided to go to Odiba just for a look around, it was pitch black, Eam stumbled into something, a uni-cycle!
the monorail which took us off from the main-land was driven from the rear, so i got to sit right at the front of the train, it was really dark and the rocking train made it impossiable to take a decent shot, but i got this crazy frame
