Shibuya Crossing and more Akihabara

So after exploring the area im living, i went to meet Eam and then we met his gf after her exam at Ikebukuro i had a really quick look around before we decided to go to Shibuya Crossing. Id been told it wasn't that busy the time we went at about 9pm and that if i really wanted to see it busy i should go at the weekend. The place looked busy enough to me! When i get to a new place im kinda of taken back a little and when i use my camera im taking touristy photos of what I want to remember. Hopefully the longer im here the more i can look at the Japanese people and their way of life from a more controlled point of view, and really try to capture images not just for myself to remember Japan by but share a story or a scene with other people.

At Shibuya the people there mostly seamed young, much like in Akihabara but they were a lot more fashion conscious, something which my camera missed the 1st time there, but i saw quite a few rich looking girls sat around on their phones. Me and eam made an observation that the more 'trendy' looking guys actually have a feminine look about them. Im not quite sure why Japanese girls are attracted to such a look but some of the guys sure did seam popular. Maybe thats where im going wrong? haha

We went to a crazy ass 7 floor HMV to look for a CD if been wanting since last summer but was only every released in Japan. Unfortunatly it was sold out, and i thought i would never get a copy but just down the road there was another huge store called Tower Records and i was in look, i got the last copy whoop!

Here is a quick video i took of the crossing

After this we went back to Akihabara again, this is the closest part of the main city to where i live so we will end up here quite abit, plus it is geek central here. Back home i feel like im such a geek but around here i feel like a normal person compaired to some of the people you see walking around.

We went to a book store called 'book off' which had about 3 floors of anime, i was really shocked when we went up to see so many 'otaku' just stood reading. In england standing for this amount of time and reading would get you kicked out the store! In Japan it just seams accepted. Although photography was not permitted i tried to take a few frames.

For food we went for a Japanese Curry! it was really nice, although me and Eam stupidly decided to order a lvl 5 spice. 0 being normal, which i was told is already quite spicy. It went to lvl 10. how someone could even eat that is beyond me. I managed to eat my curry and it was nice, but it was really really hot, drinking Asahi didn't really help the stomach later either.

Here are a few more shots from Akiba in the evening
