Fuji Q - Mount Fuji

After sleeping 16+hours from getting back from Kyoto i was ready for Fuji Q Amusement Park! It had been a few years since i had been on any roller coasters so i was really excited. The plan was to head to Shinjuku for 7am and get some breakfast then grab the bus we booked at 8am. Was so funny how i got on the same train cart as E+C but when i think about it it was really simple maths of 1 in 20 chance.

i spotted this whilst getting food in Shinjuku looked awsome. i need to go back to Shinjuku when i have some time

We then took the bus which went onto the wangan first and began its upward journey through the mountains towards Fuji. The trip was worth the money alone for me. I saw the side of japan i really wanted to see, almost as much as the electric city. Unfortunately i wasn't sat by the window, and the business man next to me was sleeping so i respected him and never too many photos of the journey. Instead i played some fluid relaxing drum and bass and just enjoyed the surroundings.

Of course as we got closer to Mt Fuji the camera had to come out

It was almost surreal at first, the mountain seams out of place from its surroundings. It stands out from everything else, you are truly aware of its presence.

as i was on the wrong side of the bus, Charlie took this frame for me :)

We arrived at the park and sorted out pass's and me and Eamon decided to head straight for the 1st roller coaster we saw, which coincidentally was the highest at 79meter drop. It was hella awsome! the drop took so long that 1/2 down i just wanted to be at the bottom, maybe it was a bit silly to jump straight onto this.

After afew more silly rides we rode the Ferris wheel, the views are so stunning.

After relaxing it was time for alittle for excitment so it was off to the water ride.
We went on it all together 1st and i tried to video the drop.

Afterwards i wanted to take some photos of the ride, which was called 'Tsunami' after checking the shots you really can understand why it was given that name!

In summer they let you stand on the bridge ^_^

I then rushed around the side and took some rainbow shots, as we had seen this effect while walking down to queue for it.

The last ride was going to be hell, and i wont like i was bricking it before going on. Basically you hand from a bar which is attached to the track, but there is nothing beneath you. Then the bar also swings in loops while you do vertical and horizontal loops on the track. Just mentalness. It was the scariest ride both me and Eamon were going to go on, but i love the feeling of anticipation when you are waiting for the ride.
